The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana, located
in Marksville, Louisiana is currently seeking a
Manager of Information Systems for its Cultural and
Educational Resources Center (CERC). Candidates
must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Sciences from an accredited four-year college
or university and six to eight years experience
in computer programming and networking. All
applicants must possess the proper certifications
as required by operations and the ability to
meet deadlines in a multi-task, team-oriented
environment.
Responsibilities of the Manager of Information
Systems include, but are not limited to the following:
Providing technical support for and assisting in
the management of the (CERC)’s software and
associated hardware; building interactive, webbased
solutions that facilitate user control of data
retrieval, reporting, and data processing; managing
all activities of user services and core technical
services of the (CERC); manage the communication
of all systems and network related information to
the end users in a timely manner; set standards for
production support, security practices, and system
integration / interoperability; develop proactive
capacity planning for systems and networks; and
monitor overall health of the various systems and
networks to assure availability.
